In a similar vein, I have been really impressed with Australian Simply Cards, which I have mentioned before. The projects are excellent - both in their range, their challenge levels, and their presentation. And the magazine also looks really good, plus it comes with a free crafting gift every month.
The
current issue has a free Cameo embossing folder, which I can use with my new dye cutting and embossing machine. And it will go very nicely with my vintage stamps mentioned in the previous post.
Last month had a free stamp set - cupcakes, a quote about Good Friends eating cake, etc. Just a few stamps - around 5 I think, including some quite small ones - but a nice set to have.
Again, there are templates and bonus papers in the download section which make things handy, and mean that you don't have to cut up or otherwise destroy the magazine to use them. I know this is an Australian version of a UK magazine, but I really wish the local publishers would step up with their content and presentation. Not to mention there are never any giveaways - which aren't necessary but are appreciated, and a great way to trial new products. And if I don't want them myself I like to give them away to other friends like
regency_rhi and
sad_frog to use.
