I LOVE IT!!!
I want to come back when I get the chance (id like to experience some other things first)
I got to sing for Mr. Miller today. He had good things to say.
good solid techinique for breathing, good countertenor voice.
My head was positioned too high,he gave some mouth formation tips, showcased my coloratura ablilities to the audience, and he had THIS BIG issue with my working through the break so we did a bunch of work on that.
"You know you must diligently work on this EVERYDAY!"
then of course he pulled usual "lets hear your baritone voice" so I did some of that.
Apparently not a bad sound their either.
I still feel my counter sound is better and I wouldnt switch for the world, Im ADDICTED to the counter repertoire in contrast to my slight boredom with baritone rep
( no offense to Baritones)
Anyway, he said I could easily approach I career in either fach because its a solid sound all around.

so that was the hilight of my day!
Oh and this AMAZING lyric soprano.... knocked my socks off.
I love black women that can sing opera well without letting other stlyes seep in such as GOSPEL!
but anyway... this was DEFINITELY and AWESOME DAY
I think I shall live everyday as if it were this fabulous!
