I love how Richard Miller basically despises most all schools of singing with the expection of the Italian school!!!
This so far has been a dream and a half, I LOVE IT!
I thought I would hate it, but Im thoroughly enjoying all the pedagogical beauty that pours form this mans mouth like manna from heaven.
It's also cool that half of the people here are older singers ( I mean like retirement is in 6 years old) But they know their stuff.(even though I'm sure a few of them should just brass the chords and hang um up to look pretty)
I'm still waitng for the dreaded to happen in which my name gets drawn to go sing under the chopping block of Mr. Millers masterclass for the world to see me have a nervous breakdown. ( not really, I might start sweating a bit... but thats pretty bad for me!)
I have two recital performances to sing on ...
I feel like I'm forgetting how to sing.
Or at least how to sing without straining a shitload... And my chords feel like hamburger meat...but this is after just one aria.
I think its the pollen here... casue my whole face and sinuses are swollen... AND I felt like this At BPI as well.
Oh well... I feel like my singing it passable and hopefully things will click when I get up to sing.
( taking my allergy medicine could help too)
I need to get back to Chicago like WOAH!
its beyond time for that shit! This pollen infested suburbia midwestern life is not just killin me its killing my voice.
headaches suck. ( I keep telling people i need to see a doctor about this!)
