Summertime!
It's amazing... the feeling of FREEDOM when I realize I'm on summer VACATION! I just read Becky's entry... it's true. Knowing I don't have to work tomorrow made this weekend so much more enjoyable! I managed to pack in so much stuff this first week of Summer!
On Friday, I left school after cleaning my classroom around 2:30 and headed to Lancaster, where I spent the evening with Alex - swimming, dinner, playing Wii Fit (I'm HOOKED!). Saturday morning I drove back and hung out with Pat & Sylvan here for a li'l while they finished fixing my blinds on my deck. Then I headed to Sara's, where we made a yummy stromboli and watched a movie before making a Rita's run. This morning I picked up MB (White) for church and then headed to Judy's for a picnic. After that I drove up to Hughesville, where Wallis (co-worker) was having a party during the Blues Fest that's going on up there. His house is right next to the fairgrounds. Most of my co-workers were there with their families; there were a million kids there! It was fun; I'm glad I went up. :)
So... needless to say, this weekend turned out MUCH better than I thought it would be. A GREAT way to start my summer in this crazy hot weather!
I'm heading to Leechburg tomorrow with Mom and Aunt Fritz... then to Minneapolis on Thursday. I NEED to go to MN; I can't wait to spend a week with M! :)
