I'm melting

On the way home from work at 3pm the temp on the sign at the bank said 100 degrees! The hunidity is awful...with the heatindex I am sure it is around 110-115 degrees!

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a heat
advisory... which is in effect from 10 am to 7 PM CDT Sunday. A
heat advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.

Daytime highs in the upper 90s to around 100 degrees... combined
with dewpoints in the lower 70s... will result in heat indices
ranging from 108 to 110 degrees. These conditions can increase the
risk of heat related illness.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. It is advised to stay in an air-conditioned room... stay
out of the sun... and check up on relatives and neighbors. Refrain
from doing yard work during the hottest part of the day.

If you must be outdoors... wear light weight... light colored
clothing... drink plenty of water... slow down and take frequent
breaks. Do not drink alcoholic beverages.
