Day 2: 1964 words
Wow! We had a great first write-in tonight, and I had way too much chocolate cake. But the cake was my reward for making my day's word count, so that's okay. And it kept me awake on the way home.
Still no plot, though I seem to be favouring the urban fantasy character set. If I can manage to coopt the post-apocalyptic characters into the UF setting, I might have something like a story.
Actually, I might need to give the characters more character for that to happen; so far, the only interesting one is what I thought was a secondary character who makes mysterious and foreboding phone calls.
