The Bark Park
When my bro and sis were down for thanksgiving, we took my dog to this awesome dog park that my sister had heard about. It is incredible- it's a fenced in area where people take their dogs and let them run free and play with other dogs. And within this is another fenced in area that is full of dog trick equipment. Like a tunnel to teach your dog to go through, and ladder for you dog to walk up, some pillars that your dog jumps over, etc. Which, for those of you who know that I love to train animals, I will be teaching my dog to do soon. Anyways, the first time Snoopy visited the park, she was very scared and this drew SO much attention from the other dogs. The poor thing is so little compared to all the other dogs and they would just attack her because she would lay on her back from fright and then if a dog got to close to her, she would bark at it which got the other dog rilled up and other dogs attention. Till pretty soon all the dogs would gather around snoopy in a circle and just bite at her while she's on her back. There were many fights with other dogs as well. This one man got his hand bit accidently by one of the dogs from trying to prevent a dog fight. I guess it was really bad- the guy had blood dripping from his hand and was rushed to the hospital. It's kind of dangerous. Snoopy has gone a few times so far and she's getting used to it and really starting to enjoy it. She's learning to stick up for herself and not be so scared of the other dogs. With time, the Bark Park will be like dog heaven to her.
