So, last Friday was job shadow day at my school! If your not sure what that is- it's were the juniors and seniors get the day off to spend it with someone at their work and observe them there and see what their job is like. Supposedly, it's suppose to help us decide on what to do for our future, but I highly doubt that it helped anyone. The freshman and sophomores that, sadly enough, do have school- previously signed up for a few neat subjects that they may be interested in for their future, and then on the job shadow day, some people with experience on these subjects, come to our school and give the freshman and sophomores a little taste of what their job is like. Anyways, I got to job shadow my mom at the jail! It was awesome, but scary at the same time. I was only there for about an hour, but man, it was insane. When I first got inside the jail there was some inmates in cells some NOT that were just free throughout the jail, which frightened me at first. There was even this one guy that had attempted suicide, so he was strapped down in a chair, and later on was BEGGING my mom to let him out- which all my mom would say to him was "No!" I got to go into the court there and see a lot of cases take place. Man, there was cases for everything- drug abuse, drug dealing, prostitution, shop-lifting, and tons more. It was nuts. It was kinda scary walking through the halls between the cells because inmates would do WHATEVER they could to get your attention, and all my mom would do was laugh. Man, I did learn that I admire my mom for taking on a job so dangerous. But, now I know where she gets her craziness from...lol...jk mom, I'm just messin. Well, on Saturday morning there was mud-less super bowl at church which was awesome! It was suppose to be muddy but ONE FOOT of mud dried up in like two days! Craziness! Anyways, it was high-school against college and high-schoolers kicked butt! I'm not sure what the final score was, but we seriously creamed them. I made three touch downs and I took Rollin down during tackle. I was, crazily enough, the only girl that played tackle. Cause it was just like last year, first half was two-hand touch, and then second half was tackle. Then, afterwards we ate pizza and then played volleyball! It was a fun morning! Saturday night I got together with Kel and we did some Freaman biking, and then we went and saw Mandy in the marcos one-acts, which Mandy did awesome! Man, Kelly and I kept laughing non-stop during the whole performance for no reason! We seriously had our heads stuffed in our sweaters throughout it all. We had way to much energy to kill. Man, then Sunday night came around the corner and that was awesome! There was a children's musical at church and it was probably the best one I have seen yet. The best, was the fact that scott was in it playing as the kids director. It was beyond incredible. Well, I think that raps it all up. Have a happy thanksgiving...gobble, gobble...
