Mildly concerned about my level of crunchiness and whether it's actually being a crunchy hippy-esque person or some blend of environmental/personal concern mixed with being frugal as hell. For example, I am washing my hair with baking soda now (good news: mild dandruff cleared up as result, can wear black again). I tend to use a vinegar rinse. Have decided that there's absolutely no point spending like $12 at Bath & Body Works when I can make approximately the same thing in my kitchen and not have my hormones disrupted and soapify the waterways with whatever it is that makes froth.
Also, get multiple uses out of the ingredients-- can't use B&BW body scrub to cook, but can use brown sugar in chicken and olive oil in fried rice. Or as a simple facial moisturizer. Or to keep cast iron cookware all nice and non-rusty. Or to lube up non-cooperative machinery. Or as a laxative.
My cat snores. It's the cutest thing ever.
