For the minute I'm going to use this icon, because I'm squeeing about the football result (as well as the other thing, see below) of 2-0 against Blackburn Rovers, which puts us 5 points above Manchester United, and 8 above Chelsea. Now all we need to do is hold on to that lead for another... three and a half months (twelve games). What's more we've managed to even up our goal difference so even if Man U regain some points it's not as scary a difference as it was! So yes - *squees* Football is fun.
However I have to resurrect the *acts* icon I had because the other *squee* is... I got a part in Confusions, our May production. I will only be on stage for about ten minutes, but it's a solid ten minutes. The production is basically five playlets which have tenuous little threads running from one play to the next, which makes it very interesting - although they're so tenuous that we've ditched on or two in order to get a maximum number of people into the plays. The play that I am in - the second one - is called Drinking Companion. It's about Twenty-something Paula (me) being hit on by drunk forty something Harry (a 50-something guy called John), and then being joined by slightly older than Paula, Bernice and then Harry proceeds to try and convince at least one of the girls to come up to his room. Eventually he is so drunk that they are able to get out of his clutches. It feels like it will be fun, all I have to do now of course, is learn my lines! I'm quite excited, and hopefull will have piccies to show everyone!
