I spent my day messing about in computer things.

And now finally, and behind the times, I have set up the new computer (actually six months old, but it's still new and exciting to me!) to use the wireless modem as a wireless modem. When I managed to set it up I actually had a "Yes, it's ALIVE, it's ALIVE!" *giggle*
Talking of being alive, I am. I'm aware that I haven't updated in about three weeks, and I haven't posted my Spooks reveiws in that time either, mainly because I wrote them down, and I couldn't find the drive to actually write them.
I have to leave in about 45 minutes to go and pick up dinner - we're having fish and chips. Mmm. Fish and chips. I'm not looking forward to goiing outside, I'm concerned that the weather is edging towards Artic at the moment, and we're only in November, I suppose that weather wise things can only get wetter. *ahem* Sorry about that, I'm not sure what came over me!

Daddy is doing well, and he seems to be really interested in computer games, he's replaying Riven at the moment - he was going to play Myst but we actually leant that to someone and never got it back! He's going to have a go a Exile (the third in the trilogy) once he's finished Riven (which is proving slightly harder that we imagined, even with the cheat book), which we bought but never got very far because it has a system where you look around by moving the mouse, which makes me incredibly seasick, and therefore preventing me from making anything more than a short foray into the game before having to stop. I'm going to try and get that computer hooked up to the internet via the newest modem so he can have fast broadband as well, and then he can get a whole new range of games off the internet! And also he can start doing crosswords again, since he has the printer attached to it. Talking of which I still haven't heard much from Lexmark about updating thier drivers for my printer, so BOOO at Lexmark. And windows is bad to. Boooo.

Anyway. This was my post to prove I am still alive. I must now go and find my Artic weather gear to go and forage for fish and chips.
