Chris waited anxiously leaning up against the stone wall of the castle. The way the platform the castle was on abruptly ended and seemed to float amidst and endless sky with no land for orientation always made Chris more than a little uneasy. Then again, the conversation he had with Wesker - captain or not - put him on edge as well. He should've trusted Wesker. He should've been relieved that someone he knew and remembered and respected had shown up. Why couldn't he be though?
And then there was Jill. An enemy. Yet, he couldn't help but trust her. Something had to give, and with Rebecca currently MIA, Jill was the only person he could turn to. He just hoped he wouldn't be regretting this.
