Come inside and be afraid of this impressive mess I've made... )
This was the line of reasoning she was using to calm herself. There was some explanation for this place, surely one Xemnas could explain - and someone was coming to get her out eventually. If anything, because they wouldn't want to loose a member with a keyblade. And Roxas would look for her because they were friends. Axel too.
She went into the tower because even though it looked ominous it might be occupied. And the more people she could find, the more information she could gather. Besides, things had been looking pretty ominous about this place from the start. Maybe it was nothing special.

"My my... quite the petite flower I've seemed to pluck. I wonder if this will prove to be any challenge, or if I'll just have to amuse myself with some screams..."

"That's an odd way to greet someone." she commented, tightening her grip on her keyblade in case she would need it. "Who are you?"

"I am the creator of this place, and the god of magic. Who are you~?"
As soon as he asked his question, he vanished from sight, teleporting to just beyond another corner.

A lot of things about this situation would make sense if gods were involved. Then again, the voice had seemed deeper than this...magic god. How many deities were running around this place? The teleporting didn't really disturb her. She could do some of that herself.

He descended into cackling as a jet of red and white searing hot steam began to gather beneath Xion's feet, ready to erupt at a moment's notice.

She reappeared a few yards away unharmed. "You told me what what you are. But that still doesn't tell me who." she stated flatly, drawing her keyblade.
She wasn't entirely sure that the clown-god had made that happen, but if he did, then he had just attacked her with no provocation. She needed to be on guard. One thing was for sure: he didn't seem predictable.

After a dark chuckle, Kefka twisted in the air, throwing two large balls of flame that snaked their way toward the girl, bending and turning seemingly without cause or reason.

She dodged one and narrowly deflected the other. Why had he turned hostile? She hadn't come to fight. Was everyone here going to be like this? Was this what it meant to be at war? Her eyes narrowed at her colorful adversary. Was he on the opposing side? Pretty brave of him to set up in enemy territory if he was. Or just crazy - and the latter was more likely.
"You're not the only one who can do magic." she stated more boldly than she felt. And with that she prepared some ice magic - hopefully he was weak against it - and above Kefka's head, sharp shards of ice started to rain down.

"Oh, but I am the god of magic remember~!"

"You're not a god - you're just crazy clown!" she shouted at him, getting angry. "Why are you attacking me?"

He grinned as he floated overhead, looking down on his prey.
"Several reasons... Partially to make sure Chaos' champions are up to their task, partially to lure in some dupes of Cosmos... but mainly?"
His grin widened even more as he thrust his hands upward as he began to spin in a sitting position, causing bolts of lightning to strike random areas in the Nobody's general area.
"Mainly, I was just bored~!"

Lightening magic was one of her least favorite things to have to deal with - maybe because it reminded her Larxene. Maybe because it was just plain nasty.
Please don't go numb. she thought, clenching and unclenching her fingers around her keyblade.
