Harper's Ferry Hike and Shoot

May 04, 2011 00:45

Still working through my backlog, here's some from Frank Ruggles' Harper's Ferry Hike and Shoot on April 17th.

Again, all the brownish greyscale photos are developed in coffee, and there's been some liberal "enhancements" tossed in there as well. Don't hate vignetter, hate the association of vignettes with vintage. Or just admit vignettes are kinda cool. Or let me keep my ridiculous fantasy.

All of the film was shot with my Yashica 124g, which is still my favorite film camera. The Nikon FG-20 is gaining on it though, if I could just get better at focusing the damn thing.

I'd also like to give a shout out to Mr Ruggles, whose first "hike and shoot" was responsible for all these photos. If you like hiking and taking photos, look him up either on his web page or at Ace Photo in Ashburn.
