So…I Guess This Is It
Understandably, many changes have occurred in our beloved fandom and in LJ during recent years, and although change is hard and uncomfortable, it is unavoidable.
I'm still writing Supernatural and Supernatural RPF fanfiction. My latest story, The Road So Far, is posted over at AO3. It is an AU boy band story with a large cast of characters, including J2, Osric, Aldis, Christian, Misha, Kim, Tahmoh, Samantha, JDM, Felicia, Chad, Rob, Ruth, and many more. Jensen is the youngest member of the band and is, therefore, protected by the others. The story can be found at this link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/43163493/chapters/114129478. It has 15 chapters and over 63k words already, and I post a new chapter every week. This week I'm taking a break from posting because I need to decide if I should post it anywhere else or not.
I've tried posting here on LJ, but I keep getting errors that say the file is too large. Also, I have gotten very few responses to the chapters I have posted on LJ recently, leading me to believe that the interest just isn't here anymore. And then there are the other issues with LJ that have caused others to abandon their accounts here. I'm sad to be moving on from LJ because of all the time and effort that I've invested here, as well as all the fun I've had. I won't delete any of my posts or stories that are already here, I just won't be adding anything new unless things change.
I've received suggestions that I should start posting over at Dreamwidth and have set up an account over there. The link to my account is https://disneymagic.dreamwidth.org/ using the journal name Disneymagic. I'm having trouble navigating Dreamwidth since it's still new to me. The search criteria doesn't seem very refined. I'll have to keep playing around with it.
I have very fond memories of the friends I've made and the great times we shared. I hope to see you all over at AO3 or Dreamwidth. Feel free to message me or link me your own journals at different sites.
