Okay, so I got accepted to uni in September in Brighton to do an MA, which is rather cool. Having to find £3175 in course costs isn't though.
Ian's band are playing at the Concorde 2 in Brighton on August 11th, and somehow I've ended up dealing with the entire booking coach / selling tickets thing. The entire thing is going to cost £12.50 each including return coach travel to Brighton and a beer while you wait to leave, which I think is pretty reasonable. Except that the band are doing nothing to sell them and expect me to do all the work. Think I might skim some profits off for myself to help pay for uni, seeing as they're being like that. I might have to offer them a lock-i at the bar afterwards, seeing as thats where the coach will be dropping us back, and I have to be semi-sober all night to supervise them all getting back on the coach. It isn't very rock n roll really, although having a bunch of drunken Contrabanned fans sleeping it off in my bar is, I guess. Oh well, off to do my PR bit again...
