Students, in light of a recent request from our headmaster [they don't need to know the full details] I want to remind you all of the purpose of evacuation drills and proper procedure for both the drills and in the event of an actual evacuation.

I can only enforce this in Joe West, and probably only then on the fourth floor, but I want you all to listen.

These drills are to prepare you for an emergency evacuation. [She assumed they were fire drills or the like, but she'd be non-specific. Just in case.] In the event of a real emergency, following these procedures will increase your safety. [Does it promise it? No. But it helps the odds.]

When you hear the alarms, you should swiftly assemble and follow the paths shown to you out of the building. Stay with your group. A headcount will be taken.

In a crisis, the most important thing is to remain as calm as possible and remember what you have been taught. Proper evacuation techniques can save lives. [...Unless what you're trying to avoid can follow you and still kill almost everyone. But. That isn't applicable right now.

Still, her face shows the deep, solemn thoughts before she pulls herself out of it.]

Expect teacher conducted drills before long.

[Locked to faculty:]

Let's face it--

We're on our own here. The mouse has given us some instructions, but they're... lacking. So, I propose a staff meeting. We can evaluate maps of the school, plot out the best evacuation paths, and train the students in those.

If every member of the faculty takes responsibility for those students on the floor they live on, we can maintain some semblance of order.
