EVENT: Voodoo Festival!

There's a banner raised between two wooden posts smack dab in the middle of the quad, hand-painted, by the look of it. The lettering is thin and, judging by the slight drip of the red paint, probably done in a bit of a hurry, though the image of a voodoo doll to the right of the words looks pretty well done.

[Mulan looks around... just taking in the general atmosphere of the place... it all seemed interesting but... she wasn't sure if she wanted to mess with the spirits. Brining dishonor to her ancestors was the laaaast thing on her to do list. Even though she always seemed to find a way to do it anyhow]

[Cogsworth's wandering around as well, against better judgment...
After that horrible lockdown, Cogsy has been exploring and curiosity seems to have more sway over him right now than logic. He eyes the tents and the things inside with a mix of intrigue and fear, keeping his distance away from anything looking particularly dubious.

As he walks around, he can't help but wonder why they allowed a Voodoo Doctor to become a teacher.]

[Facilier does a double-take as Cogsworth passes by -- a walking clock? A talking lion was something else, but this... how interesting.

He catches up with him in two strides or less, and plants his cane directly in Cogsworth's path.]

Well, what have we here?

[Cogsworth stops suddenly in shock and glances up at Facilier, frowning a bit as he moves out of the cane's way to get better look at the skinny Dr.]
Ah.. I don't believe we've met. I'm Cogsworth, the English teacher teacher here.. May I ask your name?

Dr. Facilier. [He tips his hat at Cogsworth.] I won't pretend I've seen anything like you around before, but it's not too much of a shock at a school like this, is it?

[Thinking of answering? THINK AGAIN, Facilier's in fast-talk salesman-mode.]
Now, might there be anything you're lookin' for this afternoon? Any manner of charms or trinkets?

[Cogsworth holds up his hands and chuckles nervously] No, I'm just browsing, really! I- I'm not much of a fan of voodoo or enchantments, myself...

[Facilier makes an expression of mock astonishment.] Not much of a fan? My dear timepiece, you must not be acquainted with all it can do.

Unfortunately, I am all too familiar... And it's precisely why I don't enjoy becoming involved in it.

Ah, I think I understand what you're talkin' about. You sure you don't wanna give a little somethin' a try anyway? Free of charge, I assure you.

[Thinking of protesting? TOO LATE, Facilier's whipped out a little charm and strung it about Cogsworth's neck; immediately the enchantment binding him to the form of a clock fades away, and there's a very human-looking Cogsworth standing in the middle of the grass.]

[Cogsworth is indeed human, and very very disoriented by that sudden change. It takes him a second to register what just happened, why he's suddenly so much taller and why everything suddenly feels different. From the sensation of his clothes to the sudden absence of omnipresent ticking, it all feels very familiar, but foreign.. And then it hits him-

He glances down at his hands and clothes, stammering and choking on words for a second.]

How..?

Haha, so I was right! All very logical, two negatives make a positive, and one enchantment is easily broken by another. Temporary, I'm afraid, but I take it this is what you're meant to be?

Er.. y-yes. [He takes the charm around his neck and examines it in his hands. He doesn't really care that he just revealed he's naturally human, he's far too ecstatic right now.]
How long does it last?

Jus' a week, I'm afraid. But a week with legs an' fingers an' toes... sounds worth it to me.
