8/14/11 (Disneyland)
Another Sunday, another Disneyland adventure. Heather, Rachel, Fuzzball and I began our adventure a bit earlier than usual. I was heading off to get my fastpass for Star Tours, when I got distracted by stuff in Disneyana. The latest D23 issue, a Bonkers D. Bobcat and Fall Apart Rabbit vinylmation and Sci-fi collectibles. Then I bumped into Brooke and Lizzi. Destini joined us moments later. We all huddled around and talked for a bit until I decided to start making my way over to Star Tours. Lizzi and Destini realized that they hadn't been on it yet, so the whole crew gave Rachel and I their annual passes so we could get fastpasses. On the way over, we saw Mr. Rachel, who joined us for fastpasses as well.
We headed back to Main Street after getting our passes and watched Lizzi sing with the Dapper Dans. Once she finished, Rachel and I went back to Disneyana so I could finish looking at stuff. A bit later, we joined Heather to watch the Castle Show. Afterwards, we met with Jenni at Princess Fantasy Faire. While we never saw Kevin, we did see another little friend of ours, plus Steven and Katie. Once we were there long enough, Rachel and I grabbed a bunch of fastpasses for Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. We still had the crew's annual passes...they weren't using them. ;p We bounced our way back to Main Street and met with the rest of the crew for a bit, as well as returned their passes. We went to see Jenni really quickly, who was waiting for a friend of hers. While she waited, we returned to the crew for a bit before going on Tomorrowland adventures. We wanted to visit the Stormtroopers, but by the time we got to them, they were at their spot in the Star Tours line. Instead, we watched Captain EO. Headed back to Coke Corner to wait for Musical Chairs. Visited R2D2 afterwards. Heather, Mr. Rachel and I figured it was too hot to watch Soundsational, so instead, we went inside Innoventions. Rachel and Jenni were inside as well, but we were seperated. As we walked in, a cast member was telling everyone that Asimo's show was about to start. Asimo arrived at Disneyland in what? 2005? I remember him debuting, i've seen video of him...but I never actually saw him in person. So, that's what we did! It was really an enjoyable little show, reminds me why I love robots and animatronics. We headed out and met with Rachel and Jenni afterwards. R2 was back out for another set, so I went to watch him for a tad. We then left Tomorrowland and saw the ending of Soundsational. We spent some time inside the Magic Shop. I played around with the giraffe puppet like I always do. We migrated next door to the music/book shop and looked at things there. Mr. Rachel and I looked through the artwork of a storybook before we all headed back to the Magic Shop. We eventually left to see the rest of the group, but then Brooke, Katie and Steven wanted to see me perform with my puppet. We ended up all having a puppet show. It was fun times. Once we finally left and headed back to the Fire Dept., I messed around with Carmela, Jade and Mr. Rachel, getting a few laughs out them. I then noticed Fuzzball was missing! Turns out Rachel had taken it and she was off getting a frozen lemonade with Heather. She demanded me to meet her at Tiki Room, so I made my way over there. I had spotted Maynard, but he was busy with some other people at the time so I never got the chance to say hi to him. Ah well, next time! After enjoying the wonderfulness that is the Tiki Room, we walked Jenni out of the park and watched Soundsational. We then took the train over to Toontown to ride Roger Rabbit twice. We started to get kinda hungry at around this time, so Heather went to get Clam Chowder while I got mozzarella sticks and a root beer float. Said our goodbyes to Mr. Rachel and discovered that the rest of the crew was heading out to dinner, meaning their Star Tours fastpasses were now ours. I got to ride Star Tours 3 times because of that! We ended our day by visiting Foulfellow and Geppetto, who both happened to be out at around 10:30. Foulfellow wore Fuzzball on his shoulder and mimed Captain EO. Geppetto seemed amused. They were definitely having fun. XP Left the park a bit before 11. Heather and I didn't exactly pass out when we got home though. We spent the night on the internet and watched videos of WDW's Tiki Room, which i'm sad that they shortened. Plus they need to get the magic fountain back. But at least they have it back!

Heather stayed at my place till about 5 today...and i'm pretty sure I bored her to death. I'm sorry. It's a Monday. I really don't do much. We did play some Nintendo 64 and watch Pokemon, so at least that's something. Nothing exciting really happening until later in the night when I went on a Tiki Room kick. I spent hours just reading feedback on WDW's. This eventually just turned into a "OMFG I FREAKING LOVE DISNEYLAND" kick. I looked at lots of photos of Disneyland back in the day. Found some new photos of Splash Mountain under construction to add to my obsessive collection. And then, I went on a Star Tours kick. I want a Captain Rex for Christmas. I spent a bit of time just observing his movement throughout the ride. I like his neck. Dont' you dare judge me. I then started thinking about any upcoming anniversaries for attractions. Star Tours' 25th anniversary is this January, hopefully they release some sweet merchandise. Tiki Room's 50th is in 2013, REALLY excited for that. After enough geeking out, I then passed out for the night.

I started my fun morning by waking up at 8 for a doctor appointment. Yaaaay! I got to get x-rays that will determine my fate! I got bored pretty quickly, but fortunately, I was only there for 15 min. I grabbed something to eat for breakfast and spent my morning watching TV. Saved by the Bell, My Little Pony...I started to get a bit drowzy and there was nothing on TV for another 30 minutes, which was Fraggle Rock. I decided i'd just take a short nap. So I slept...and I slept...and I woke up to the Fraggle Rock theme! Yay! I looked over at the clock expecting it to be 11:30, which was when the show was supposed to start....it was 3:00. DANGIT. Well, at least I got to watch the show. Last night, I learned about a show called "Movie Magic", which used to air on Discovery Channel back in the 90s. I fell in LOVE with it. I watched through about 6 or 7 episodes. I took a small break to watch Aladdin and the King of Theives on Disney XD. But yeah, Movie Magic is kind of amazing, If you're into movie making and stuff, i'd highly suggest it. I also finished coloring in an old drawing of Fuzzball from Captain EO that I had done a few weeks back. I messed up on the wings a bit so i figured i'd work on fixing that tomorrow. Before I went to sleep, I went on abother "OMFG I FREAKING LOVE DISNEYLAND" kick. And then that faded out and I went crazy and started talking about dinosaurs and unicorns and making movies. THEN I passed out.

Today was actually a kind of eventful day! It started off with a live chat with Paul Reubens. Only I was too shy to say anything so I let everyone else do the talking, haha. But it was nice to be apart of. I took a shower and headed off to the San Bernardino County Museum with my dad. This is pretty much my childhood museum, I went here for my birthday once too. I got to save money today! They charged me with child admission, hehe. Either they were just being nice or maybe I really do look 12. Aside from taking photos of some of the exhibits, I got to get some sketching done. It definitely helps drawing those stuffed animals. We were there for a few hours, then I got some lunch at Jack in the Box and headed home. Watched Atlantis: The Lost Empire and the last few episodes of Movie Magic. Hopefully somebody gets ahold of the other seasons. I bought a few of Stephen Silver's books for a nice deal (look him up, he's pretty great), so i'm pretty excited to get those. Spent a lot of time doodling on my tablet, plus i'm now in the process of coloring a tribute to Zoog Disney, which was an old block on the Disney Channel for those that don't know. Resuming that tomorrow night, maybe. But for now, it's time for sleep. I'm heading out to Santa Monica soon to visit the Pee-Wee Herman art exhibit and adventure around the city some.
Later Days!!
