It is gone. It is done.

I finally closed my company bank account. The experience was rather clinical, chops, signatures, notorise this and that and finally the cutting of the cards and cheque book. It's been so long I don't even remember my pins/passwords.

I started the sole proprietorship to consolidate all my freelance Music teaching. I had cute little business cards, a pretty letterhead to print my invoices and receipts, letters. I named my company after the Elvish (Sindarin) word for Music. My business cards had English, Tengwar and Cirth scripts. LOL! Even the company symbol married the Elvish love of nature with music.

Oh gosh I was such a geek.

Come 2nd December, the business itself will be cancelled. Not sure if I feel sad. Maybe a little wistful. But those beginning times were very hard. Sure the money was good, but...

It took me... almost three years. I don't know why I kept it live. There was really no point? I wondered if it had any subconscious effect. Always looking over, the other side, wondering. Maybe I'll pay the $25 a year to renew the business.

Hmm.

But now that chapter is closed, it is over and as Frodo said, "It is gone! It is done!".

elvish, life
