Music Teacher needs help with Music
How's that for a subject head?
I suppose I'm exploring unfamiliar territory here...but I'm looking for Popular Music as sung/played in lounges during 1930/40s Shanghai (上海滩) ? I'm thinking along the lines of (maybe) jazzy loungy numbers but in Mandarin! Maybe I can start with soundtracks on movies of that genre. Not even sure if it exists or some movie director's imagination!
