So, I'm going to ask you guys for help, if you can give it.
We're finally moving into an apartment this fall, and my original plan was to get a cat. I've always loved having animals in the house, and have really missed it since I moved into the dorms.
However, I've also always wanted ferrets, and I just realized that I could definitely get a pair of ferrets instead of a cat.
Do any of you have ferrets, or have you in the past? What would you say are the most important things I should know before getting a pair?
I've definitely been doing my research, but I want some advice from you guys. Thanks for any help!
ALSO: Contrary to popular belief, "They're illegal in California" and "I don't like ferrets, they smell" are not examples of good advice or particularly helpful. Ferrets are 100% legal in Wisconsin, and your dislike of ferrets does not help me in knowing how to care for one.
