merry christmas everyone! hey what's up. so far, i woke up today around 11ish. it was cool waking up pretty late. =). ate golden chopsticks food my mom bought for today. mmmm!! so yeah, i hope i don't overdo it with all the holiday eating. ahhh! between today and last night, i think i might have gained a few pounds. hopefully not but we'll see. so anyways, just chilled for a while. watched more tv. chilled some more and here i am now. oh yeah, thanks mom for the christmas present. =). it's the best. hehe. i might rent cinderella man and watch it with her later. and then i might go watch brokeback mountain or whatever with my babe tonight. we'll see though. as for right now, i need to get caught up with this journal. so freaking behind again. oh wells. laters for now ...
the rest of the day, i updated my journal and caught up with what i could. chilled and just relaxed at home a bit. my dad went to our relative's house and after that, i got ready and went to blockbuster. rented cinderella man for me and my mom to watch. went back home and watched it in my parents room. we were enjoying the movie until it started skipping and stuff. then it actually got stuck in the dvd player. didn't panic but it was annoying. after a while of just trying to eject it, it finally came out. told my mom i'd exchange it for another copy tomorrow or whatever. since our movie got cut short, i got ready and then went to my babe's house. we planned on watching brokeback mountain tonight. so yeah, went to the landmark hillcrest cinema and watched the movie. it moved on kind of slow but overall i liked the movie. i'm glad i watched it with my babe. =). didn't cry at the end but it still moved me. hehe. after that, we just went back to my babe's house. said goodnight and then i drove home. chilled for a bit, watched tv, and then eventually slept ...

today i woke up around 8ish. had a good night's sleep which was good. ate breakfast and then went to work. 10-7 today. it was surprisingly slow. there were a few spurts of the line being long at the registers but other than that, the day was generally slow. maybe because it was christmas eve and people wanted to spend time at home or were worried that there would be a big crowd or whatever. either way, it was all good. i wanted to replenish a bit but then i became sort of main cashier the whole day. i didn't mind though. got 5 oncs. whoo hooo!! lunch was okay. just watched tv and ate the food at work. also bought presents for my nephews and grandpa. i was supposed to leave at 6 but stayed until 6:30 instead. cleaned up the register area and made it look really beautiful. then clocked out and left. went home. chilled for a bit before getting ready again and going to church. it was okay. tried singing but i was kinda off on some parts. dangget! hehe. maybe i'm tone deaf. oh wells. at least i try. mass was good. afterwards, left and then headed out to eat something. the mcdonalds at woodman was closed already and so we just went to the carls jr in national city. my dad was annoying me so much. he complains about everything. carls jr was closed and so we got our food at jbo's. got a few things cause i was hungry. i don't know why but i got fast food. i guess i'm off my diet for a bit but hopefully it doesn't show in the next few days. =/. got home and ate the food while watching some friends episodes. chilled for a bit more and watched tv. eventually slept later on ...

today i woke up around 10ish with my babe. chilled and he cooked some eggs while i got ready a bit. ate breakfast and then he went home. showered, got ready, and then went to work. 12-9 today. mainly cashiered the whole day. it was pretty busy. did a few gobacks here and there. also made sure the front end looked beautiful. processed from the bins and also cleaned up a bit. hmmm, nothing else really interesting. just a busy day at work where time flew by pretty quick. anyways, clocked out at 9 and then went home. sooo tired. chilled for a bit and watched post impact. that was a waste of a rental. i thought it would be good but then the special effects and the editing really sucked. *shrugs*. oh wells. anyways, showered and then eventually slept kind of early.
*december 22, 2005*
today i woke up around 5ish. got ready and then went to work. 7-3 today. was about to start baby markdowns when we had to recover. bleh. me and edmond recovered the main aisle area and i also reorganized all the pajama bottoms that were on sale. after that i went to baby girls. started markdowns again and also remerchandised what i felt needed to be remerchandised. got a little stressed because we hardly had anyone on the floor and i was continuously being called to ring or do stock checks or whatever. then i got into this one disagreement about merchandising with vickie and i felt all crappy. i got over it later on but still, i hate that feeling. maybe it's cause i always want to do a great job at whatever task i'm assigned to and i can't do just that when i'm being asked to do other things. i don't know if that really made sense but whatever. didn't get to finished markdowns today but oh wells. clocked out at 3 and then went home. chilled for a bit. talked to my babe about our plans today. grace called me earlier that day and told me about the dance studio closing and that there would be a final master class from carlito and erny. i've been with that studio for more than 3 years now and i wanted to support. that also meant that i'd have to cut my shopping day with my babe early. i guess he didn't want to spend time with me or whatever if it was just an hour or two. so i eventually blew off on him and said that we weren't really going to spend a lot of time this christmas weekend cause i'd always be working and i might not even see him christmas day. hung up and just rethought of my plans for today.
ended up getting ready and going to plaza bonita by myself. it sucked cause it was really trafficky and i still wasn't that comfortable with driving my new car. didn't have that much time to shop anyways so i just left and then went to the studio a bit early. chilled outside and met up with my former axs teammates. took the master class. i was a bit rusty but that's to be expected. caught on a bit later but the details were out of whack. oh wells. hehe. i miss dancing. afterwards, talked with whoever and gave my donation to the studio. i hope they'll land back on their feet with the new studio sometime in the future. said goodbyes and left. went back to plaza bonita and luckily there was parking this time. hehe. looked around jc penney and eventually decided on this one purple button down i've been eyeing for a while. used my coupon and paid $6. hehe. left and then bought a necklace at anchor blue. then left for home again. ate a bit and chilled. watched driven: jamie foxx. then my babe calls. by this time, i was over our disagreement earlier. he was outside and i let him in. made up and he gave me an early xmas present. aww anorexic stitch! hehe. it's hard to stay mad at him i guess. maybe our relationship just works that way. oh wells. it's all good. chilled and stuff. he slept over. hooray. i love my baybuh! hehe.
*december 21, 2005*
today i woke up early again. got ready and then went to work. 7-3. i drove my new car to work. i was kind of nervous because i didn't know how traffic would be or how comfortable i would be with driving my new car. luckily, it went pretty well. clocked in and then recovered a bit. after a while, started markdowns. today was just boys and girls. finished what i could and remerchandised some stuff. then i helped out on other areas of the floor like ringing and stuff. nothing else much happened today. i did have a stomach ache at the end of my shift. and i was tired at the beginning of my shift and wanted to go to sleep. dangget overtime yesterday! oh wells. my body was kind of off, as well as my sleeping. after work, i went to the chiropractor. had my massage and doc cracked my neck again. i'm progressing well which is good. i have a break friday and next monday and we'll resume again next wednesday. that's cool. after that, went home. chilled a bit and took a nap. woke up later on in the night. chilled, ate food, showered, watched roll bounce. it's turning out pretty good so far. anyways, eventually slept ...

today i woke up early again. around 5ish. ate breakfast and got ready. went to work. they were handing out overtime today and so i stayed from 7-7. first off we recovered a bit. then i worked on the mens markdowns. did that most of the day. also helped out with ringing and doing a few gobacks here and there. recovered a bit more too. survived the 12 hour shift and then clocked out. went home. sooo freaking tired and hungry. luckily my mom bought some potato wedges and i ate that for dinner. chilled for a bit and then eventually slept ...

today i woke up around 4:30ish. ate breakfast and then got ready. went to work. 6-3 today. today was women's markdowns. did that for the majority of the day. of course, we didn't really get that far into clearance but that's to be expected. clocked out at 3 and then left. went to the chiropractors for my appointment at 3:30. had a massage by the masseuse and then doc did some realignment. left after around 30 minutes and then went to blockbuster. returned the dvds and rented roll bounce and post impact. after that, went to the bank to deposit my paycheck. then i finally went home. chilled a bit before taking my afternoon nap. woke up later on and then did some exercises. watched some tv. hooray gauntlet 2. showered and then went online for a bit. talked with my babe, said good night, and then eventually slept myself ...

today i woke up around 9:30ish. ate breakfast, got ready, and then went to church. man, it's been forever and a day since i went to church. it's good though cause i miss going. tried singing along. hehe. afterwards, dropped by 7-11 to pick up a newspaper. today we were going to buy myself a new car. initially i wanted a used one but i'd rather have a new one now cause i know i'd eventually buy one anyways. so after looking at the ads for a while and chilling out at home, we decided to visit the toyota of el cajon dealership cause i had my eye on the 2006 camry. it was something that i could afford. when we got there, i looked at the camry and didn't really like it. eventually went to the back and i saw a car that just came in. it was the 2006 corolla s. looked at the price tag and it was about the same as the camry. instantly i started liking the car and i took it for a test drive. it went well because it reminded me of how my other car (92 corolla) drove like. so that's a plus. the salesman guy (denny) asked if i wanted to drive another car but i had my heart on the corolla s. it was an automatic shift, had side and rear spoilers, drove like my previous car, was a sports car/racer looking type of car, and was in my price range. seemed like a perfect fit to me. =). it was a dark grey color and i grew to like it cause it also had a shimmer and sparkle to it.
we went inside and started the process of negotiating and buying the car. the $18,000 price tag eventually went up incrementally. talked with the dealer guy, the finance guy, and after a while it ended up being around $22,000. at least that includes some insurance, an alarm system, registration, etc. worked out the payment plan of $400 for 5 1/2 years. if i did that, i'd end up paying around $4000 in interest alone. =/. so i hope to use the money i got for my old car, the accident money, and whatever i save up to pay for it asap. i HATE wasting money, especially on something like accruing interest. i'm hoping to pay it off in 2-3 years but would rather pay it off in one if at all possible. hopefully i'll get that new job and i can use the extra money on the car. had some problem with the alarm system not in the car yet and eventually i drove the car home with the dealership dropping by my house tomorrow to install the alarm system. i like driving my car. =). seemed off a bit since i'm not used to it yet but i'll adapt to it and learn to love driving it. hehe. parked the car inside and chilled at home. mom bought some mexican food and i ate some carne asada fries. worked out a tiny bit and then just chilled. eventually went out again to get gas for the rental car and came back. showered and chilled. went online a bit, talked to my babe, and eventually slept. hooray new car. i love it. hopefully i'll have a pic of it up in a few days. hehe. =D
