2005: Year in Review
1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
♥ had a best friend *_*
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
♥ i don't know if i actually set in stone resolutions this year, but i got a couple of big things ticked: quit smoking, lose weight (though i did want to wear a size 18 sundress to my christmas party but i have refreshed this one for 2006 and am more determined than ever)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
♥ my stepsister did but the baby was stillborn.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
♥ no. i got very worried about my grandad! but he's powering on.
5. What countries did you visit?
♥ none apart from my home country! i saw some parts of it i'd never seen before though. thanks, work trips :D
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
♥ A SMALLER WAISTLINE AND SOMEONE TO MAKE OUT WITH PERMANENTLY OR AT LEAST FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS
7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
♥ january 8th - my 21st birthday party, march 13th - my first work jaunt as a permanent employee to meet my very own customers *_*, gosh pretty much ALL the live acts i saw this year. the panto!!!

♥ getting back into acting, i think. and keeping my job sjdklhs

♥ money management
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
♥ i always get colds that knock me out and i got through a couple of those... and right now i have BLISTERS ON THE SOLES OF MY FEET I CAN'T TELL PEOPLE THIS ENOUGH

♥ my car and my laptop and my ipod. i'm so materialistic that i make myself sick. GOD AND ALL MY CHUCKS *_*
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
♥ my mummy's just because, lozzo because she's so strong and wonderful, my brother because he stuck up for us this hols when it was needed, emma because she's my hetero lifemate aka best dudes 4ever, dajh's because he dragged me back into acting.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
♥ pfft. maybe grandad's. i mean, that's kind of awful to say because he was sick and had operations but after them he didn't pick up straight away after recovery, he just let himself wallow for months and seriously the whole family thought he was going to die. he let himself get really depressed about getting old and he became more of a hypochondriac and he just wasn't LIVING, he was sitting around doing absolutely nothing and not leaving the house and every time i saw him i either wanted to yell at him or just burst into tears. he's a bit better now but he was probably the person who drove me most crazy this year.
14. Where did most of your money go?
♥ CAR AND RENT unfortunately. life is hard.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
♥ every band i went to see because they were ALL ones i really loved... getting a new car and a laptop... going on a week-long business trip to canberra... being in the pantomime... getting a permanent full-time job...

♥ you can never see enough live music!!! i wish i'd socialised with more people to be honest. i saw the bitches at least twice a week but the rest of my friends, hardly ever :))

♥ at my dad's place, surrounded by step-family i didn't really know :)) so great, i know.

♥ VERONICA MARS *_* FIREFLY *_* our tv antennae doesn't work so I didn't watch any new actual television this year. also i stole my brother's LOST dvds and am working my way through them. very entertaining, i must say!

♥ LIBETY....... long story.

♥ sdjls i read so many books this year, i just couldn't say! kavalier & clay, jonathan strange & mr norrell, the new voyager book, temeraire, new asoue...

♥ WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THIS. the notwist, i will say them and be happy with that.

♥ laptop! car! ipod! best friend!

♥ ahhhhhhh. serenity? narnia? i dunno, that's all i've got on the tip of my tongue. brain.

♥ i turned 21!!!!!! my best chums made a lovely dinner on the actual night of my birthday, and then on the saturday following i had a cartoon/comic theme party.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
♥ getting a contract for my novel, clearly. i didn't pimp it hard enough!
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
♥ "fat girl trying to maintain cool" skdlj i wear a lot of layers, my newsboy cap, and a lot of chucks. THOUGH NOW I HAVE CROCS......... i hope you've all discovered the joy of crocs, omg.

♥ my friends! my cat! my music! mostly emma, if we're really talking about "omg i was just about to go insane and then _____" moments.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
♥ jake gyllenhaal, HOT POTATO. kristen bell... as much as i fancy the vmars boys i just cannot help crushing all over her.

♥ i try to ignore politics, to be perfectly honest.

♥ just because you think you can afford it doesn't actually mean you can in the long run.
