Well, this is the day that makes me sad - the end of the brightness in our December/New Year days. It's time to put Discovered on a Midnight Clear away again.
As usual I've linked everyone's posts to their squares on the calendar below (and the original one, actually!), so if there was a day that you missed you can hover on the square and it will show you whose day it was, but you can now also click on it to be taken directly to the posts for that day. And the banner and its link to the challenge will be up on the User Info page with all our other archives in the next few days.
Thank you so much to everyone for joining in - whether you chose a day, posted once, twice or thrice or more, whether you read or commented, or just generally glowed with our lads at Christmas. Happy 2019 everyone - here's to a lovely Pros-y year for all of us, and may the lads' midnights always be clear! Well, unless they happen to get lost together in the fog somewhere, and end up trapped in some small space, very close to each other and desperately trying to keep warm just to survive the night, except that then their warm bodies together made them realise that... well. You know the drill. *g*
1st
It came upon 2nd
a midnight clear 3rd
That glorious song 4th
of old 5th
From angels 6th
bending near 7th
the earth 8th
To touch 9th
their harps of gold 10th
Peace on earth 11th
goodwill to men 12th
From heaven's 13th
all gracious king 14th
The world 15th
in solemn 16th
stillness lay 17th
To hear 18th
the angels sing 19th
Still through 20th
the cloven skies 21st
they came 22nd
With peaceful 23rd
wings unfurled 24th
And still 25th
Happy Christmas Day! 26th
their heavenly 27th
music floats 28th
Through all 29th
the weary world 30th
Above its sad 31st
and lowly plains 1st
They bend 2nd
on hovering wing 3rd
And ever o'er 4th
its Babel sounds 5th
the blessed angels 6th
sing
