The last day of winter break couldn't have been more appropriate. It snowed! Even though the sun came out and melted it, that's okay. I made a necklace today. It is blue and hot pink and two-stranded. I like it. I also worked out, which I haven't really done since a month ago.
Tomorrow I start school. Everything is about the same, with the exception of English...that will be new for me.
I am going to make copies of my newly revised goal sheet. Mrs. willcox had us make these things my senior year...only my version of it it a lot more structured. here's what my goal spreadsheet is so far. I saw Mrs. Willcox at World Market. She is probably one of my favorite elders that I keep up with. She has so much wisdom. I asked her what I should go into (career wise). I told her I couldn't decide among performing, teaching privately, or music therapy. She said why not all three? She said I have all the time in the world and that I need to accept my age. My biggest problem is trying to grow up too soon, that I will admit. She always has the best things to say. So I think i have a bit better of a plan. I will finish this degree as a vocal performer, go to grad school to get my masters in teaching voice. Once I have that degree, I will be able to perform and teach in a college setting! Then, if i want, I will continue my education even farther for my degree in Music Therapy.
It's nice to have a sort-of plan. ^-^
