So it would be hard to find a more enjoyable month than July. It didn't start well, not with my aunt's funeral on July 1. But it got better. I guess it had to. The weather was downright amazing. I had the top down on the car EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE MONTH. It's never happened before. When it rained, it rained at night. And the temperature was perfect, high 70's, low 80's, light breezes...this must be what San Diego is like. I need to get out of Pittsburgh.
And how nice was it that this weather coincided with a continuing light period at work. A mere 150 hours. Coasting through the month, coming in at 9:15 and avoiding all the traffic. What I wouldn't give for it to be like this all the time.
For once, it feels like things are under control. Workload is under control, I'm getting to the gym regularly, the house is clean, I'm finally playing golf consistently enough that I'm learning. I could even be in a good mood if this kept up. Of course it won't. Soon it will be snowing and I'll be miserable for six months. It's a real problem.
