i feel ya totally on the job situation. i had a pretty shitty day at work and i've come to the realization that it's just not going anywhere. you see signs and hear things that might, JUST MIGHT prove otherwise but it never works out that way and you find yourself looking again for employment that you can actually be SATISFIED at. fuck i hate looking for a job but hell it's all one can do to get out of the proverbial hell you're currently in, especially when you've been an indentured servant for over a year and a half. though i know once i get out i won't look back and regret anything.
i've had one interview for a finance manager position at a VW dealership nearby but nothing came of that because i'm not bilingual, even though i'm more qualified than the other candidate. and i have mexican in me, too. kinda wished i actually paid attention during those 3 years of spanish class instead of fucking around, even though i still passed with B average. it would've paid 2500 a month but it would require 50 hour workweeks, possibly more, and lots of weekend and night work but i would've done it and probably have been good. oh well, shit happens for a reason right?
