Well, i've managed to keep my head above water so far, but it's temporary unless something comes along.
I tried to call Adam the other day and see how he was doing in North Carolina this summer, but some woman answered his cell phone and told me he wasn't there. I left a message with her to have him call me back, but i doubt she delivered it because i've heard nothing so far.
With all the time off i've been spending a lot more time with my uncle who owns the exotic dancer business. We talk a lot about how he wants to get out of the business and do something more legitimate, but he does enjoy the money. I suggested to him some ideas to increase his revenue too. He's really the brightest person in my family aside from my father and brother in law. Come to think of it, there are a lot of damned intelligent people in my family. My brother is extremely good at math, both of my sisters are great at music and are incredibly socially adept. My mother, despite her crazyness is pretty damned smart too. I am, no joke, the least intelligent person in my family, but that still makes me more intelligent than a lot of the general public (even if only by a little bit).
It's just not right how hot it is outside right now. I wanted to get up and go swimming today, but couldn't move enough to even walk the 50 or so yards from my apartment to the pool thanks to the oppressive heat. Now, people in other areas of the country don't understand this, but the humidity in the Ohio Valley is just unbearable at even 85 degrees. When it gets up over 90, you will, and i'm not kidding you, have condensation forming on your skin as well as sweat! Hence the term "muggy" because it feels like the damned air is mugging you it's so all up in your shit! Take that humidity that you get at the beach right after it rains, and draw it out ALL day long! Sometimes without a breeze at all!
I began to play with RPG Maker 2000 again since my lack of employment. It's fun and frustrating sometimes. I like how easy it is to just set up a map and place an enemy set to it, but i hate how hard it is to program in switches and events. I wish i understood the functions on it better (trust me, i have read many tutorials on it) so i could make it do what i wanted.
Also a bit more writing has spilled forth on my book. I wrote the ending yesterday and mapped out the rest of the plotline with some patchwork writing. It's so damned close to being done! I just need to find a direction for the climax to go and then it's all worked out! I'm really excited about it too, because i feel good about the work i've done on it. Once the last words are typed in, i just have to ask my buddy Christian to edit it for me, and then submit it to a publisher. Kick some ass!
There's a cute girl that works with me at the new job. Her name is Becca. She will be mine, OH YES, she will be MINE!
P.S.
Much love for all my internet friends.
