and it was pretty amazing. sigh!
I feel so proud, and giddy, and excited.
i love him.

we had my sister do a reading during the ceremony. we searched high & low for the perfect poem, or quote, or something, for her to read. and finally, about 3 days before the wedding, we found this: a poem called "scientific romance" by a livejournal user by the name of tim_pratt. no joke, the part about zombies almost made me cry when she read it, hahaha. and it was pretty fitting to have something that was written by a fellow livejournaler, too, heehee.
by the end of the ceremony, me, franklin AND the officiant (franklin's best friend) were crying like wee babies. it was pretty awesome. and the whole event was a kind of strangely humbling experience, actually. and everything that "went wrong" is what made it kind of pretty much perfect. and. um. yes!
