Things are most definately bad to the bone right now, as in good. Life is the cats meow for sure. Uh...writing a whole song tonight with the band should be cool. We have to get it done for the recording haha. Show tomorrow at tranz should be neat and fun, there are a lot of other shows going on that night so i'm not expecting too many people but it doesn't even matter. The show was originally being done by another band but the guy that runs RTG got it cancelled because he likes to lie and the original band just sit down and took it so we decided to make it our show with the help of James from Fifth Street Heist who had some connections. He also got Matt to run sound for us so thats awesome stuff. Can't wait to see those boys again. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday shall be fucking awesome to no end. Recording our EP at Burning Bridge so its going to sound freaking intense times 20.
Last night was pretty much one of the most amazing things ever. I saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra for the first time. Wow, I don't know why I haven't gone before. That was the most intense show I have ever seen. I was expecting more orchestra and less band but I definately was into the more metal aspect of it of course. Alex Skolnick and Chris Caffery totally tore everything up with insane shred. The visual part of the show was amazing too, synthetic snow being dispersed on the crowd, laser lights and strobe lights and crazy flames and pyro shooting everywhere. So intense. I got an awesome shirt with Criss Oliva's white Charvel strat with the rose going up the guitar. They had other TSO shirts but I had to get the honorary Criss shirt just because I love his playing, definately one of my favorites.
Well I need to shower and go to Jerred's. He is going to try to trade his Crate amp in for a used 5150 II head so hopefully that works out because that would be super sweet. Hopefully IRC has the power supply I need because this kid at guitar center is a retard. He sold Jerred the wrong power supply and then we took it back and it took him over an hour to figure out we needed a Rocktron power supply that was made for the Hush Super C. Then we had to pay extra to get it shipped here by the weekend and he said "oh yeah it will be here no problem." Then they called and said it will be in on the 21st. Which is definately not this fucking weekend. Why pay extra for something thats not even making it by when I need it. Anyways.
