In the dream, she was sinking further and further in despite that she was attempting to find a way out--a way back to where she belonged. Without him, she had lost all reason to exist. And yet, Discedo was not the world where she belonged, either.
When she dies, it's like she's finally swimming back to the surface she longed to find. She wasn't scared of death. Rather, death was always something she had prepared herself for.
And so, she finally stirs in her sleep--her movements are unusually gentle for a witch that was known so well for her cruelty. But, it feels like she's awakening from a long night's rest. Blue eyes blink open--and for a second or two, she can only take in her surroundings.

"Good morning, did you rest well?"
He should be more concerned, but those are the only words he can bring himself to say. When someone wakes up from a nap, it's only polite to give them a calm greeting.
There's a bunch of things he wants to complain about, but he realizes there's a time and place for everything. Suddenly hitting Beatrice with his questions won't help her at all.

... Where had she fallen asleep to begin with? Even now, her memory was foggy.
How annoying.
"..." She laughs a little. What a strange dream (if it was one. Perhaps not). "Good morning, indeed. And yet, you've chosen quite the place to rest. ... This is quite strange, even for your standards, Battleeer."
