Summary: Japan thinks that avoiding the problem actually works sometimes... so he tries to move to his old room without telling anyone.
the log:
The threat of the creature that had been running around the city was enough of a problem on its own, that was for sure. There was enough proof in that with the injuries that Japan's human-like body was still attempting to heal. But the entire situation had brought many other things to light; things that Japan knew where going to show up, that he had been trying so hard to avoid.. It was all very tiring to deal with. He was almost certain that while he didn't bleed to death, thankfully, he was going to die by some sort of stress. Heart attack, perhaps.
Anyway, with both subtle and forward attempts to move back to his old room stopped by concern for various reactions from those around him, Japan had made a risky decision to move without telling anyone. Would this work? He honestly doubted it. He would move and get accused, try to hide it, fail... that sort of thing. That's what he was expecting. And that was what he could deal with. Pushing the problem back a few days or so.
With that in mind, and a small box of things in hand, Japan slowly urged the door to the hallway open so he could leave.
