[After having received one measly carrot for Chirstmas, Logan has taken it upon himself to make sure he doesn't starve to death. Maybe give this cooking thing another go. Either way, he needs to find some food. Maybe a razor too while he's at it. So he's minding his own business, walking around the shopping district towards the supercenter.]

[And Togekiss seems to have sensed some nasty vibes from this one, flying off to see him face to face - and then staring a lot once he's close enough.]

Ah, good day. [Cynthia greets, a little sheepishly thanks to the kind of look Togekiss is giving the other.]

[Logan is pretty used to getting looks from others, but never really strange beasts--what it that even? Is it supposed to be a bird?

He quirks a brow at the monster, slowly moving one hand towards the hilt of his sword just in case. He doesn't want trouble, but things never seem to go his way.] Can I help you?

[His wary reaction added to the way Togekiss acted less than comfortable gave Cynthia a very strong impression about that man's nature - and it wasn't entirely a good one. Still, he was polite enough, and there was no reason for her to be anything less than such in return.]

We don't need any help, thank you. We're just flying around and wishing a good year to anyone we may find.

[Flandre had been gliding about the city skyline, whenever the sun hid behind a patch of clouds and didn't bite and make her skin crawl. One of them, anyway--but the only one probably outside at the moment.

Though she was small, the little vampire's wings were rather hard to miss, all glowing seven-colored crystals.]

[Well, that was a little unexpected - a girl flying? Well, no matter. Togekiss gets good vibes from this one, enough to approach her with a friendly smile.]

Oh, hello! [Nice day for flying, huh?]

[Oh, hi. When did you get here and what is your horse.

Flandre doesn't come to a complete stop, but she does slow down quite a bit to boggle at this strange flying thing.]

...is that a bird?

A bird Pokemon, actually. His name is Togekiss. [She informs the other, petting Togekiss on the head. In return, he gives a happy little chirp, an indication he wanted to give this a proper greeting - and it was about time, after the Logan fiasco.]

And he would like to give you New Year's greetings, if you wouldn't mind.

Wearing a jacket and a scarf, Pearl was outside and walking around the Horton building, but not too far, since she didn't want to go anywhere alone. The New Year was reminding her of how long she had been in Discedo.

Of course Pearl was glad that there were at least people she knew here, and that she wasn't alone like many other people were. Plus, there were the new friends that she had made, but it was still a depressing thought that she had spent so long away from home.

I'm guessing this is a kind-hearted one? |D

Once they were in the vicinity, Togekiss seemed to capture pleasant vibes again, this time coming from a lonely little girl wandering around the Horton area. With a nod in understanding, Cynthia instructed him to follow Pearl's direction, coming to land a few feet away from her.

"Good morning!" The Champion greeted, hopping off of her Pokemon in a fluid motion.

Aha, if she isn't channeling psychos~

Pearl jumped in surprise as two figures landed in front of her: a woman and something that looked like a bird? That was the closest thing she could think of.

"H-hello," she said a little shyly, before straightening up and waving quickly.

"Ah, please don't be afraid, we mean no harm," Cynthia offered, trying to keep the girl calm. She then proceeded to motion towards Togekiss. "I'm Cynthia, and this is Togekiss. He would like to greet you, if you wouldn't mind."

Marta was just outside of Latimir, getting a bit of fresh air. It was the first day of the year, and while it was nowhere near there back in her own world, she figured she might as well enjoy it here. If it really was a new beginning now, what better way to start it off than just enjoying the day?

Marta was one of the first people to be spotted by the Jubilee Pokemon, seeing as both Togekiss and his trainer also lived in Latimir.

"Good morning!" Cynthia greeted, in which she was followed by Togekiss and a bright little chirp.

She blinked at Togekiss--was that a monster?--before the surprise passed away; she was pretty used to sights like that. Smiling, she waved back in greeting.

"Good morning! It's a pretty nice day, isn't it?"

"It really is!" Cynthia nodded once, her own smile widening. Togekiss took it as a cue to gently prod her in the back, with a happy little "Toge!" she should know the meaning of. "Ah, Togekiss would like to greet you, too!"

Probably sometime before Cynthia actually leaves, Chihiro sleepily sits up in bed and looks out to the door.

"Onee-san? Are you going somewhere?"

"Just for a little bit," Cynthia tells her, taking a seat on the bed. "Togekiss said no one should be unhappy on the first day of the year, so we'll go out and do something about it."

[allephoria]

She smiles, still a bit sleepy, and nods. "That sounds nice. Make sure to be careful too though."

"Of course," She agrees with a nod, one hand darting out to gently ruffle Chihiro's bangs. "Ah, but before we go, I think Togekiss would like to give you a special greeting, too. Would you let him?"
