Inside a massive, hollowed-out bible, contains a human head. It is a woman's head, with red hair. Under her tongue is a single coin. It reads Heads, perhaps out of irony.

The church interior swallowed and spread the nasal serpentine's vocality throughout, a rasping tremor suppressed if but for the expressed urgency and excitement bubbling forth from his now ever-present companion. What chittering poured forth into the cleric's ruminations managed to stir him up long enough to have a response to his call.
A steady gait and he swiftly made his way from the Sacristy to the Nave, drawing to the side of the human-sized pit to eye the flickering flame that held in the subterranean room.
"O'....."
But what hit him first was not the sight of an artifact, but rather a peculiar scent enough to make any sensible man turn away in disgust.
'What wee beastie could have planted itself here to produce such an odor?'
A low growl, and he simply drops like a simian into the hole, spectacles reflecting twin ember flames.
"Ye called..?"

The soldier arrived at the store and frowned slightly, noticing that someone else was here before him. His gun was down by his side, not wanting to appear like he was threatening him. "You there-" Kresnik stopped his sentence short when the terrible smell finally hit him, causing him to glance towards the severed arm on the counter. "......" It's nothing too unusual that he's seen before through all his years in the military, but still...
Kresnik glanced back at the other person still standing there.

Her pale left arm sticks out of a bookshelf, though it lacks the hand.

She took a look at the paper, glanced at it, and decided to put in down somewhere else, in case it meant anything.
And that's when she saw it.
Patchouli has seen many things in her life, but it's still a surprise to see an arm, hand amputated, sticking out when you know it wasn't there before.
Patchouli shouted. Then coughed.
"mukyu..."

Keeping his distance a few feet away, he swallowed and put a hand to cover his mouth. Sick.
"Wh-What is that?"

She wondered how it got there. She wondered why it was there, and who it belonged to.
It was then she realized who was speaking. "Bakura, correct?"

Her left leg hangs like a prize fish among all the actual prize (but rotting) fish.

Where it smelled like rotting fish.
Leo sighed and walked through the empty market, searching for well...anything out of the ordinary. One katana was drawn- they were near the edge of the city and he was not about to trust this place to stay empty.
"Stay alert guys-...I don't know what we're supposed to be expecting."
