Church, head linquere June 4 2010, 22:54:02 UTC
"The Shepherd is silent, and it’s sheep wander. Its throat is full of lies unspoken. It lives within the Text."

Inside a massive, hollowed-out bible, contains a human head. It is a woman's head, with red hair. Under her tongue is a single coin. It reads Heads, perhaps out of irony.

"...Hmm?"

'Click.'

The church interior swallowed and spread the nasal serpentine's vocality throughout, a rasping tremor suppressed if but for the expressed urgency and excitement bubbling forth from his now ever-present companion. What chittering poured forth into the cleric's ruminations managed to stir him up long enough to have a response to his call.

A steady gait and he swiftly made his way from the Sacristy to the Nave, drawing to the side of the human-sized pit to eye the flickering flame that held in the subterranean room.

"O'....."

But what hit him first was not the sight of an artifact, but rather a peculiar scent enough to make any sensible man turn away in disgust.

'What wee beastie could have planted itself here to produce such an odor?'

A low growl, and he simply drops like a simian into the hole, spectacles reflecting twin ember flames.

"Ye called..?"

Well, no one in the main section of the church, no one in front of it... He preferred it this way, actually. The less he had to deal with servants of the Gods, any God, the better. Stuffy lot, and if Filia was of any indication, obnoxious. In fact, he somewhat remembered that someone was living in the church, right? Some twitchy blond fellow or something ( ... )

"The Fighter has been made useless, it cannot close its fist"

Her pale right arm sits on the checkout counter, waiting for you.

Since this was the one that Lelouch took from the chest personally, this was the location he chose to be. It wasn't the easiest out of the lot to get to, considering Lelouch's lack of physical prowess. He used up far too much of his own ammunition that what he would have liked, but it hardly mattered considering the location ( ... )

After discussing the location with Seifer and unknowingly be recruited by him, Kresnik headed towards the Arms store. Since this might be a trap, he brought along his ARM for some extra help. Though it's unable to shoot still, he can still use the sharp point at the end to stab something.

The soldier arrived at the store and frowned slightly, noticing that someone else was here before him. His gun was down by his side, not wanting to appear like he was threatening him. "You there-" Kresnik stopped his sentence short when the terrible smell finally hit him, causing him to glance towards the severed arm on the counter. "......" It's nothing too unusual that he's seen before through all his years in the military, but still...

Kresnik glanced back at the other person still standing there.

In a languid motion Lelouch turned to face the arrival. The expression on his face was that of a bored teenager. Perhaps he should play the role of an innocent student, but the fact he was carrying a gun would already five that away. Lelouch was already analyzing this man, maintaining his stance and not giving away as to what he was up to.

"I assure you that it was there before I arrived here a few minutes ago."

Library, left arm (without hand) linquere June 4 2010, 22:54:53 UTC
"A match of wits, turned tragic comedy. The Shrew has been tamed."

Her pale left arm sticks out of a bookshelf, though it lacks the hand.

Patchouli was busy checking the books that she almost missed the note by one of them.

She took a look at the paper, glanced at it, and decided to put in down somewhere else, in case it meant anything.

And that's when she saw it.

Patchouli has seen many things in her life, but it's still a surprise to see an arm, hand amputated, sticking out when you know it wasn't there before.

Patchouli shouted. Then coughed.

"mukyu..."

With a start, he nearly fell out of his chair, barely managing to catch himself before hitting the ground. He steadied himself, the shout naturally drew him to her; the initial alarm passing into worry. Brows knitting together, he strode quickly to look down each of the aisles, until Bakura's sight fell upon the source. Well, it wasn't as if he'd gotten enough of a look to fully observe the situation upon first glance: though, it still managed to be quite startling. As of which tends to happen when one finds a stray body part in a place it clearly should not be.

Keeping his distance a few feet away, he swallowed and put a hand to cover his mouth. Sick.

"Wh-What is that?"

"It's..." Patchouli involuntarily swallowed. "It's clearly an arm of some sort".

She wondered how it got there. She wondered why it was there, and who it belonged to.

It was then she realized who was speaking. "Bakura, correct?"

"Oh Wanderer, this is not your home. You don’t belong here. You will never walk again."

Her left leg hangs like a prize fish among all the actual prize (but rotting) fish.

The docks.

Where it smelled like rotting fish.

Leo sighed and walked through the empty market, searching for well...anything out of the ordinary. One katana was drawn- they were near the edge of the city and he was not about to trust this place to stay empty.

"Stay alert guys-...I don't know what we're supposed to be expecting."

"Something out of place," was the best that Donatello could suggest, his bow drawn. "Other than that..."

Well, he had his suspicions.
