His eyes scanned the area. To be honest, he wasn't expecting an actual person to be present at all. Perhaps he was early or perhaps too late. Though Lelouch went about his own business to make sure he was properly armed once again. It was right about then that something caught his eye. At first he wasn't sure he saw properly. Another glance confirmed what was right in front of him.
An arm.
A slight wave of nausea came over Lelouch and faded just as quickly as he drew closer to the counter. Truly with the wars and rebellion that he head been a part of, a severed limb wasn't the worst his eyes had ever taken in. The problem was that it was apparent that this had not happened too long ago. If one part was here, did that mean there were others at different locations? Each riddle seemed to be hidden in a mannequin part and now he was seeing the real thing right before him. It wouldn't be a stretch for the other locations to be the same way.
He covered his mouth from the very thought of it. Lelouch's mind was racing with different possibilities and various meanings to each of the riddles. What an appalling way to find out the next location. Was it really worth it to find it? Whoever this was, though Lelouch did have a pretty good idea just who it was that had been dispersed, he didn't think he wanted to know how they got into such a position that warranted their death...
Looking away from the arm, he noticed the other piece of paper. He frowned. The game wasn't over yet. Being mindful of the mess on the counter, Lelouch picked it up to read. The other part of his mind, not focused on the next riddle, wondered if perhaps he should do something about the arm resting on the counter. The thought was immediately dismissed. It wasn't his place to touch it nor did he have anything to keep it cool or clean it off. The best that he would be able to manage is describing in detail when he would bring this up in a little announcement. His main focus, on the riddle, didn't take long to solve.
However there was one little thing that bothered him. How were they supposed to know which one was the true location? If, in fact, all of the other locations had the same scene and another riddle, what would it really take to find the truth? Lelouch frowned. What right did these people have to play with them like this?
He stashed the note in his pocket. What he really wanted to do was seek out the other locations. It was irritating to know that it wasn't an option. Others would be at the scene. Apparently he really would have to rely on getting the information from them too.
"What a sick little game..."

The soldier arrived at the store and frowned slightly, noticing that someone else was here before him. His gun was down by his side, not wanting to appear like he was threatening him. "You there-" Kresnik stopped his sentence short when the terrible smell finally hit him, causing him to glance towards the severed arm on the counter. "......" It's nothing too unusual that he's seen before through all his years in the military, but still...
Kresnik glanced back at the other person still standing there.

"I assure you that it was there before I arrived here a few minutes ago."

...Besides, figuring out what happened was much more important right now.
He gave a small nod to his statement. "...did you find anything else besides this arm here?"
Reply
"That is the clue, I would think."
A lie, but yet not. Lelouch was quite adept at speaking lies. It was true, though, that the arm was a clue. One only needed the riddle to go with it. Though there was a line from the previous riddle that could be substituted. He offered a slight smile and a shrug.
"Other than that, I'm afraid I was hoping for an actual person. Perhaps that was too much to hope for, considering our hosts."

"...Withholding information won't do any of us good. Regardless of any personal feelings that you may have towards the others here, working together towards a common objective will raise the chance of success. ...Unless you're not interested in finding the location of the chip." Just a general statement that he felt like saying.
"All of this could just be a trap in the end."

It wouldn't surprise him nor did any of this, really. He had been here long enough to realize that it was all just some sort of game. If these people really did have the intention of rebuilding their city, then they wouldn't be toying with those they brought here. While he did understand the purpose in having these chips implanted, that didn't mean he agreed with it. Lelouch frowned, though not at the man inquiring of him.
Personal feelings towards anyone here? He didn't have any. Lelouch was disconnected with many in Discedo and reevaluating their worth. Which ones would be useful. Which ones wouldn't be. Pity that he wouldn't be convinced to give up what he did have at the moment.
"I already have mine out, to be honest. I was just interested in seeing one of the ones that brought us here in person," he stated, looking over to the arm. "Though this isn't quite what I pictured it would be."
Another truth to feed this man. He did have his chip out, even if he did pretend he was just another person who simply didn't want it in and suffer the side effects. If this one were to press the matter too much, Lelouch had no qualms about using his Geass to the fullest.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have someone waiting for me to return."

"Am I going to at least obtain a name from you?" He looked at the severed arm again. "...and at the very least, we should take along this arm and scout the rest of the shop to make sure that we didn't miss anything."
