Bakura looked up from what he'd been writing, attention instantly drawn to the door as such. Safe to say, he hadn't expected any company at this time-- but no matter, he certainly didn't mind it in the least. Putting his pencil down on his paper, he stood and made his way to the door, wondering just who could be deciding to pay him what was to be hopefully to be an amiable visit.

He opened the door a fraction, peering outside; and all previous wariness disappeared.

"Oh, hello Miss Lillet!" And cue a friendly grin, his demeanor brightening. He openeds the door wider, wanting to be hospitable, and at the very least inviting - a bit different from when she'd first dropped by.

She returned the smile along with a small curtsy.

"I hope I'm not running too late, I hadn't realized the clock in my room had stopped. You said come at elven so..."

Lillet stepped in at the invitation and offered up the cookies. "I'm sorry, I'm carrying on. Here, I brought these as a gift. There was apparently some sort of holiday."

She had no idea what it was, but it was generally acceptable in her world to give presents on any given holiday. Or food.

Hastily, he bowed a bit as well- was that normal in her world? It'd only seem polite to return it, after all, so. He straightened, hearing her words but not quite registering them; did he now? At eleven? When did he...? --But was distracted from the thoughts upon the offer of the snacks.

"Ah-- thank you very much!" He accepted the bag of them gratefully, shifting to hold them in the crook of his arm as he shut the door behind her with a small click. Someday, he'd figure how to fix its lock- not that he needed it at the moment, but privacy was always a nice thing to have; something he took for granted back at home ( ... )

"You're very welcome."

For a moment, she stood in silence, not sure what next to say. Using the brief pause as an excuse to look around what was visible of his apartment, her eyes eventually settled on the miniatures.

"You really keep things very neat. It's nothing like my little place. Are those the little dolls you were working on last night?"

She made to move for them but stopped herself. It really wasn't a good idea to just barge around someone's place. The miniatures were really quite magnificent pieces of work. It was a little eerie how real they were, but Lillet wouldn't say that.
