Kid was actually somewhat excited for this. With ghosts roaming around and Liz being so terrified of them, it seemed more than logical to stay indoors and away from them until she was alright with dealing with them. Plus, seeing ghosts that looked so horrid, roaming around such an asymmetrical world, would probably cause Kid to panic about how awful everything looked and leave ( ... )

Patty had no clue what was going on, or where they were going. Kid had probably told her multiple times. She hadn't been paying attention. She just knew this was getting her out of the apartment, and that was pretty swell. The apartment sucked. It was small and boring and symmetrical, and she had the constant urge to mess it up, just for some small bit of entertainment.

Plus, she was with Liz and Kid! Kid and Liz! And Patty! Wait, if she was Patty, was she with Patty? Uh. Oh well, thing was, she was with her two favorite people ever right now, so whatever they were doing had to be fun. As long as they didn't have to do those dumb poses again. ...On second thought, those poses kind of sounded fun right now. Still, she hoped Kid didn't make her do the dumb poses in public.

Oh well. Where ever it was they were going, it was an adventure. ...She hoped the adventure was outside, it would be funny to watch Liz freak out.

Could this place get any weirder?

Liz hadn't even bothered to look outside to see if Kid's words were true. After all, she believed him, and had she found out he was lying, she would have socked him one. This whole place took a bit of getting used too, plus living in such tight quarters with Kid would drive anyone insane, so Liz believed.

Personally, she still didn't believe this whole thing about Kid having a boyfriend. She'd been shooting him questioning looks throughout the day, wondering about it. She hadn't bothered to ask though, for it was just to ridiculous to be true; wasn't it?

It was time for them to go now, and Liz guessed games were okay. She'd rather have put a new layer of polish on her finger nails, save that she didn't have any, nor was there a store. Instead she had went along with Kid and Patty, walking close enough to both of them to trip on their heels. At least the both of them were here, for Liz would have flipped if Patty wasn't here, and she guessed she would have been sad if Kid wasn't either. (Of course ( ... )

"It's just down the hall," Kid answered Liz.

It wasn't that long of a walk. They just had to go down their hallway to the stairs, then down the hallway to apartment 305. He kept his hands calmly in his pocket, eyes open and looking around to make sure that nothing was around. He doubted there would be, not around the apartments.

Anyway, he didn't even want to think about that. Or whatever else Discedo was up to. There was too much, he wasn't feeling as normal as he should have been, and this was just dramatic, the amount of chaos going on.

He was just ready for something else. Kaoru sounded like an interesting person; his entire idea of hosting confused him, namely because Kid wasn't sure what Kaoru had been implying with that, but the supposedly fellow lover of symmetry was already grabbing Kid's interest. After all, it wasn't that often that someone else shared his love of perfection.

By the time they reached the door, Kid's eyes sparkled for a moment. "If you add the numbers mathematically... they make an 8... Kaoru is so lucky ( ... )

Hikaru watched with a grin from the peephole in his door. There was something ridiculously fun in watching people who could not watch you back -- let alone had any idea that they were being watched. But he completely wasn't a pervert -- merely a concerned, quasi amused friend -- or, "boyfriend," as the case may have it. He could hear their conversation through the door; he hadn't realised that even their room number was symmetrical, but it was certainly working in their advantage. Hikaru dashed to the bedroom to alert Kaoru of this new discovery; as he did, the knock on the door came ( ... )
