Could this place get any weirder?

Liz hadn't even bothered to look outside to see if Kid's words were true. After all, she believed him, and had she found out he was lying, she would have socked him one. This whole place took a bit of getting used too, plus living in such tight quarters with Kid would drive anyone insane, so Liz believed.

Personally, she still didn't believe this whole thing about Kid having a boyfriend. She'd been shooting him questioning looks throughout the day, wondering about it. She hadn't bothered to ask though, for it was just to ridiculous to be true; wasn't it?

It was time for them to go now, and Liz guessed games were okay. She'd rather have put a new layer of polish on her finger nails, save that she didn't have any, nor was there a store. Instead she had went along with Kid and Patty, walking close enough to both of them to trip on their heels. At least the both of them were here, for Liz would have flipped if Patty wasn't here, and she guessed she would have been sad if Kid wasn't either. (Of course that was a little white lie, for she did actually like him, when he wasn't being all stupid about his symmetry, or trying to push it on her. Who cared if the picture was tilted!)
