the log:
Finally. Those words were like music to the Evil King’s ears. She had been off her feet, wasting away in the clinic under the cruel and unforgiving eye of Dr. Simon, dying a slow, agonizing death, alone and forgotten, forsaken by her friends, lost to the fast moving whirl of Discedo. Her life was as ruined as her shoes.
But all that was forgotten the moment Simon said she could walk again (sure, he had said to limit her mobility, but who would listen to that party-pooper?). Finally, at long last, she was free again. The world was open to explore again, each dark corner revealed a treasure to discover (or a monster to kill). Linda was free at last, free at last, thank God Almigh-I’mnotevengoingthere.
And there was one thing she missed during her time cooped up in the clinic: music with Demyx. Since her arrival in Discedo, the two had been members of a little band, and even after Billy had vanished, they kept up their music rehearsals. Unfortunately, there was only so much music you could do with a singer and a sitar. So, Demyx had decided to call for auditions to expand their little group.
tl;dr: That lovely, yet HUGE block of text explains IN DETAIL why Linda found herself knocking on the door to room 120 of the High school, ready to judge the musicians of Discedo.
