...Fasterlouder's new WA editor. We don't really have that much in the way of separate state editions, so that's where I come in. There is only a handful of WA contributors chipping in right now, so I am looking to assemble a team pretty much from scratch. So if you know stuff about bands and can put an article together, sign yourself up. You don't get paid but you get some pretty cool freebies and you'll have your stuff published.
In other matters, the World Cup begins tomorrow night. If you don't like football, I suggest you don't make up tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the day after that. Maybe if you wake up in about a month you'll miss it.
I am not one of those people. I'll be placing my bets before work tomorrow - $10 each on Argentina (10/1), England (6/1), Holland (15/1), Spain (17/1) the USA (121/1) and the Czechs (31/1). Why? I'm supporting England with my wallet as well as my heart. The odds on the other four are pretty hard to resist.
Does anyone have big plans for alcohol-induced football viewing over the next month?
