This mix is basically a journey through the whole of Jesse and Rachel's relationship and how it started out as something fake (for Jesse), but turned into so much more. Then comes the end of the relationship and the songs show how Jesse isn't fully over Rachel, while Rachel realises she needs to move on. However, to not end on such a depressing note, the mix finishes with 'Reunion' by Stars. This is from Jesse's POV in the future and shows how there may be a chance for them, after all :)
