I just thought I'd write a little something I've had floating around in my head for at least a year. Now I lay it at your feet to judge as you deem correct. Allright, Allright. It's just a short drabble, but I still hope someone likes it. Have fun.

"You never drink from the mug I gave you for your birthday."
Seth just looked at her blearily. It was too early for that kind of conversation.
"I like this one."
Summer didn't seem to share his opinion on dreadful mornings and plowed right on.
"But it's cracked, has silly flowers on it and the colours are faded. What's so special about it, Cohen?"
"Nothing, I just like it"
The phone rang. Seth, happy to escape the strange situation, went to get it. She heard some low murmuring, then he hung up. When Seth came back he smiled.
"Ryan’s coming over tonight."
Then he got back to his coffee, smiling as though in his own world, wrapped up in fond memories. Memories she probably had no part in. Summer frowned, but didn't say anything further.
