I'm in a total romance novel HEA space tonight, but this is so close to my headcanon for these two in my tinhatty moments that it won me over. They're both really great here, and so is the story. I will definitely come back and flail internally over this story on days when I'm in the mood for more true-to-life interpretations of how they would be together!
