this and that
I have returned to you, internet. I flew back from my parents' house with my brothers, and they stayed with me for like five days, and it was THREE OF US ON ONE COMPUTER (and I was all DON'T GO ON MY ACCOUNT, DON'T GO ON MY ACCOUNT) but I just saw them off to the bus and now it's just the one of me on the computer.
And I'm all alone, :(
It was super nice having them around, and I'm way sadder to see them go than I thought I'd be, /o\ And not just because they help put chairs together and carry groceries home. (And because they realized that my keyboard tray was put in upside down. It's been like this the entire year I've had it, and my keyboard would never roll under, which was annoying given how small my old place was. But they flipped it over and now the keyboard will roll under the desk and it's magical. The fact that this trip worked just shows that my new place is so much bigger -- that I could comfortably fit three people. A miracle!)
The other night we watched Suck, which was the funniest EVER just for being the most hilarious mix up of things that my brothers like (old bands, though not super specifically the ones on the movie) and I like (vampires!).
In, um, further Lush news... I've been eyeing the Creamed Almond and Coconut Smoothie for a couple years now, because it SOUNDS just like the kind of thing I would love. But then it never smelled all that good at the store (I was shopping with a friend once who said that it smelled like sweet breath. Which isn't a good thing).
I don't know if they've changed the formula or what, but the last time I went in it was A++ deliciousness and I bought it and love it and yay! It's really sweet smelling, but in a nice way, and it lathers well in a bath poof. The only thing is that even though it's really moisturizing and my skin feels soft once I'm out of the shower, just after I wash with it my skin feels all tight. You know? That soap feeling?
But other than that, yum!
And then I also got the Pied De Pepper Foot Lotion, which is super spicy (cloves for days) and lovely and further YUM.
Now I've got to: do a thousand years of laundry; clean the new plastic containers and fill them up (you know, with pasta & rice & other things that come in cardboard boxes) in an admittedly half-baked plan to prevent cockroaches; put away the miscellaneous screws and bolts that came with furniture but weren't a necessary part of putting it together; read all of the porn I have missed while my brothers were here.
Finally, my computer crashed yesterday and I lost all of my tabs, so if you commented on something and I don't end up replying, sorry! I open things to remember to reply, but now they're all gone.
