GUYS, I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW! Firstly, how much do I love that Spencer called himself, "Spencer of Panic! at the Disco"? LIKE, SURPRISINGLY MUCH! I REALLY DO LOVE THAT! I didn't realize how much I missed the exclamation point, but actually I totally did miss it. (Now I'm imagining Spencer and Brendon huddled together, talking about something or another, and the exclamation mark comes up, and Brendon whispers, "I kind of liked it, idk," and Spencer's all, "HEY, I MISS IT TOO! WE SHOULD TOTALLY BRING IT BACK!" and then they did because Spencer and Brendon are raging dorks who really enjoyed the extra excitement it brought to their band name.) (I know that probably what ACTUALLY happened was that they're all, we can't change the band name but what's something we could do for a bit of a change or whatever, but I much prefer thinking about Spencer and Brendon as raging dorks. Also, that IS canon (the raging dorkness), so there.)
Secondly, even if we don't see Bruno, Brendon still loves us. Spencer said that they're busy making music for us. THEY'RE MAKING ME FEEL REALLY SPECIAL, YOU GUYS. Like, I'm joking, but in general Panic has not seemed like the most fan-loving band in the entire world, and it is kind of nice how much they've been communicating with us, and how they recorded Three Little Birds so that we would not be sad. My favorite idea is the idea of Spencer taking that picture of Brendon singing and posting it to twitter because watching Brendon sing makes HIM feel happy, so he wanted to share it so that we would feel happy to.
And then thirdly, the new demo! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I love that it sounds more like Fever stuff, and I love it especially after reading elegantcrimes's deciphering of the lyrics, which I am now going to post for you, I hope she will not mind.

I was thinking the other day about how the split might have happened-- like, how when they were recording Pretty. Odd., Brendon had some little songs, and apparently Spencer told him that he should play them, and bla bla bla all of the press where Ryan talked about not getting Brendon's songs, and how he didn't get them, and has he mentioned that he didn't get them? And Brendon calling them ditties, and campfire songs, and all that. And how it seemed like Ryan actually wanted to be singing on the songs he wrote, and how he said that he could tell that it was different when Brendon sang his own songs. Spencer talking about how when you compromise, no one is really happy.
And then you can see them heading back into the studio, and probably Ryan still wouldn't very much enjoy Brendon's songs, but he obviously LOVES writing with Jon (Ryan raving about how much he loved the melody for Northern Downpour, which Jon wrote, and then went and wrote lyrics for it). I'm sure that they're being honest when they say that they split because of differences in tastes of music. It's not like it's Ryan's fault if he likes the way it feels making music with Jon better than he likes making music with Brendon. People have different tastes and different compatibilities. Jon and Ryan totally hit it off, and if Ryan lost his arm Jon would help him play the guitar so they'd still be able to write songs together! That's not a partnership you want to split up!
So, yay for the first taste of Brendon and Spencer's song. I bet that Spencer&Brendon and Ryan&Jon's stuff is going to sound completely different and we will totally understand why they didn't want to work on one CD together. Which is too bad, but what can you do? Their career is to make music, obviously they're going to want to make music that they love.
(It seems like this is a super pop-y song with deceptively tragic lyrics. I LOVE THAT KIND OF THING!! la la la dancing, dancing, and A WALL OF UNHAPPY HEARTS! YAYYYYYY! I loved that about Camisado.)
