Ooh, A Lively Tune: I'm Inspired To Dance
First things first. I'm watching The Three Musketeers right now. The one with Chris O'Donnell and his curly hair, as well as Kiefer Sutherland, Oliver Patt, and Charlie Sheen as Athos, Porthos and Aramis. I LOVED this film growing up. I've not seen it for years but its still pretty awesome. I love the American!Frenchmen. I love how Chris O'Donnell says 'd'ArtAAAYNyan'. I love that Tim Curry is basically Frankenfurter in Cardinal's robes. I've got several fun facts for you that I have just discovered myself: 1. Paul McGann plays two characters- one of the Cardinal's men, and the red-haired dandy that d'Artagnan fights at the beginning. 2. The director, Stephen Herek, also directed Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and The Mighty Ducks. He's officially my hero.
Chuck was okay this week. I laughed all the way through it (although I can't remember any of the funny bits now) and I gasped a few times. I'm still not sure how I feel about Chuck being all super agent- it seems like it happened awful quickly, so I was glad he was a bit rubbish in the last stand off. My favourite bit of the episode though? Surprisingly, it was Morgan's moment of maturity in standing up to Lester. I giggled and fangirled and rewound it and watched it again. GO MORGAN! I'm so glad he's been given a bit of a character arc. Oh, and I dislike Shaw and his stupid 'I don't like guns but I will use them' *YAWN*

The reason my username is Dis_Netis is very random. I've been worldbuilding for a fantasy story I've been working on for years and in the process I came up with several names and researched the meaning of certain words. Well, the name Netis is meant to mean 'truth'. Dis is the City of the Dead, located in the sixth circle of Hell in Virgil's Aeneid. So I took these bits and so in my world Dis Netis (roughly meaning True Hell) is a prison (or 'the Dis'). Yeah, told you it was random. I have no idea why I picked that name for my username.
2. My name is _____ because ______.
Laura because my Mum liked the name. No other reason really. Apparently Laura was the only girls' name they picked out. Although if I was a boy, I would've been Alexander.
3. My journal is titled ____ because ____.
Elbows because its a nickname given to me by my friends due to my propensity to get to the front of queues and crowds incredibly quickly and yet incredibly politely. A friend of mine, ladieofthebees has even named a character Elbows in the epic novel she's writing in my honour!
4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.
Friends because my imagination fails.
5. My default userpic is ____ because ____.
Colin and Bradley singing 'You're the Voice' because DUH. They are made of cute and awesome. There can never be enough Colin and Bradley.
