Philosophy 101

Aug 02, 2010 14:07

Where: Academic building, first floor.
When: Right now. You're already late.
Who: Scar and his class.
What: First lesson >> introductions and class overview.
Warnings: Nothing you wouldn't expect from a generally bad-tempered lion.

Had Scar not been sitting on the desktop at the front of the room, his students might have thought they had the wrong classroom: the walls and windowsills were completely bare, and in fact there was nothing to indicate that a class was meant to take place there at all apart from the neat rows of desks aligned in groups of four. Discussion was crucial to Scar's method, and loathe though he was to sit through endless chatter, small groups did tend to generate worthwhile conversation, provided its participants were reasonably engaged in their topic. And if they weren't, well, they could escort themselves out of the room.

He waited for his class to enter, his tail flicking idly over the edge of the desk.

((Interaction with Scar will take place largely in the "Introductions" and "Class overview and expectations" threads, and feel free to start things of your own below that. I didn't leave room for filing in and getting settled/scared out of your wits, so if you'd like to do something there, just do it below the other threads, nbd. Threadjacking is welcome and encouraged. Cause a ruckuss though, and he may just intervene and make an example of you.))
