Where: The school ;D When: Monday morning Who: Violet and anyone who wants to give her a hand finding things? ;D What: Arrives on campus, looking to get herself settled in Warnings: None
Dash wasn't doing anything particularly special today. The day had actually been pretty boring. You know, go to classes, listen to teachers, blah blah blah. Okay, the fighting class was pretty cool, but that was it.
But then, he spotted Violet, and oh man that actually put a smile on his face. Yes, for once he was actually happy to see his big sister.
Violet was mere steps away from the strange tiki torch'd door when she hear the familiar voice she'd been secretly hoping for.
Whipping her head around, she momentarily forgot about going to the office and a smile crossed her own face in her excitement. "Dash!" however, noticing the way his tone changed, she forced herself to frown back at him and crossed her arms over her chest. "Ya. Guess we're going to school together again after all."
It was hard to keep up the act after not seeing him for so long, though and a smile crept back onto her face. Her tone softened and she let her arms fall back to her sides as she motioned to the strange room in front of her. "Since you're the expert on this school right now, I guess you can tell me.. Is this the office? I'm kind of lost."
Yeah, his facades didn't last long either, and he was soon smiling again. He never thought there would come a day where he'd be happy to see his sister, but he had never been away from her for this long either. "The principal's office? Nah, that's the school's psychologist. If ya want, I can show you how to get there though."
Violet couldn't help it, the look on her face was a comical mix of surprise and confusion as she looked between her brother and the strange doorway she was standing in. What kind of psychologist had tiki torches? "What kind of weirdo decorates like this..?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at the doorway before adjusting her backpack and nodding to her brother. "That would be great. 'Guess I'll be relying on you for a while, little brother. This school is huge!"
"It is?" He asked with a smirk slowly forming on his face. You knew this was coming at one point or another Violet. No sibling reunion was complete without a little of Dash's old cockiness.
Violet smirked right back at him. "Of course you did, you can run faster than anyone else on the planet." she said, chuckling lightly as she followed him towards the principal's office. "What's it like here anyways? Have you gotten to fight any of those bad guys or anything?"
He thought about it and honestly with all the weird and awesome people he's ran into, he forgot all about stopping the black mist. Part of it probably was intentional since he didn't exactly want to worry himself to death over something he doesn't know how to even fight yet. Best to just enjoy the school while he can.
"Not.. really. But there were these shadow looking things before. I don't know exactly what they did, but they were making people freak out when they got near them I think."
Violet gave a grimace at her brother's description. Weird shadow-things that made people freak out? That didn't sound good to her. She frowned thoughtfully.
"Weird.. I'm glad that the mist hasn't managed to effect the school much. It means we have more time to learn to kick their butts, right?"
She forced a smile at that thought, not wanting to show any weakness in front of Dash. Besides, together they made a good team and she knew that for a fact.
"What are the teachers like here anyways? Do they all decorate with tiki torches?"
"Right." he knew they made a great team too, and he was really happy to see her here because being here by himself without any of his family was a little... scary. But he wasn't ever EVER going to admit it.
"Some of them are really cool! Like one teacher is a talking lion! And this other one that teaches Hand-to-Hand Combat has glowing hands!"
But then, he spotted Violet, and oh man that actually put a smile on his face. Yes, for once he was actually happy to see his big sister.
"Violet!? They sent you an invitation too?"
