Just a day in the life of Hannah.

Well miss ASIA was bitchin' at me wondering why I don't update my LJ anymore so I thought it was about time for a little post, just to let all my hometown crew know what I'm up to. So we'll start with a recap.

In the situation with my parents, I don't know what the hell is going on there. I never asked, but I don't think they're splitting up anymore. I try to talk to them as little as possible... I don't think they've even spoken about it though.

A few weeks ago we had our house interior (upstairs) painted by a guy called Robert Hobbs. I don't think I've ever met a more twisted individual. He told me about this stripper that he slept with, and she was claiming that she was pregnant with his child and trying to play him. He gave me a description of the girl and then told me her name. It turns out that this girl was old Kylie, who used to work at the subway inside the Myer centre and I've known her for a few years. I didn't tell him this but I did however go and ask her about the situation. Now Kylie has never lied to me, I trust her far more than I'd ever trust Robert. She showed me the creepy text messages he'd been sending her, and he'd been leaving poetry at her door. I looked at Robert through very different eyes after that. He also had me smoking pot for the first time in 9 months, which I don't know whether or not I feel bad about. He also fed me speed and hash, which I took gladly, but neither had much effect on me sadly. I've tried speed before and it was the same. I've come to the conclusion that speed already runs through my veins, more isn't going to make any difference. Anyway, he left and the whole ordeal is over, except for the fact that the paint job is a mess and we're still trying to fix it.

Work is treating me well. It's Amy's 18th soon so I'll be going out with a group of the girls, to god knows where. Today was a particularly weird day though. It's the Queen's Birthday holiday. I woke up late, arrived at work late and was flat out working, Matty pitching in to help when he had the opportunity. I was relieved when Lewis started. Until I found out that Lewis has never cooked breakfast before. This reminds me that I need to go to Chris' (The rosters manager) house and SLAP HIM UPSIDE THE FACE. Was I fuckign expected to train this guy while we were flat out busy. I somehow managed, getting him to watch me while I rushed around the kitchen doing my shit. Eventually Matty finished salads and came out the back. It was at about 9:15 that I wandered out onto front counter to grab a cup of water to quench my thirst. I witnessed one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. One of our regular customers, a mentally retarded man who goes about in his little red buggy was hit by a speeding car just out on Elizabeth street. He flew up into the air and landed a good distance from his buggy. It wasn't looking good for him. One of his legs was broken and the other was positively shattered. He had two big head wounds and he was bleeding somewhere on his chest. The ambulance arrived quickly and both of the managers went out to inspect the situation and to take our first aid kit over. The police were there until I left at about 11:20, taking plenty of photos. Anyway... Enough of that. Life goes on. Except for that guy I guess.

I chilled on the net for a bit when I got home, and then went to see Harry Potter. That movie is surprisingly excellent. I really honestly enjoyed it, even though I was in a huge cinema with about 250 other people. I had some good chips too.

For shits and giggles, everyone check out Wesley.
